After launching its SELF series, which consisted of giving carte blanche to recognized artists and was the origin of LUX ÆTERNA (which allowed the luxury house to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival), Saint Laurent announced the launch of its production company Saint Laurent Productions, whose first film is Pedro Almodovar's short film, Strange Way of Life, selected at Cannes.

Variety reports that other projects are planned, including David Cronenberg's feature THE SHROUDS, but also films by Abel Ferrara, Wong Kar-Wai and Gaspar Noé.

The artistic director of Saint Laurent, already behind Lux Æterna, is expected to be in charge of the costumes for the films of this new production company.

As a reminder, in addition to the film with Charlotte Gainsbourg and Béatrice Dalle, Gaspar Noé has worked with Saint Laurent on several occasions: La Nuit de L'Homme in 2008; Summer of 21 in 2020 and finally Men's Winter 23 in 2023.
