Après le succès de « Lux Æterna » présenté au Festival de Cannes en 2019, Anthony Vaccarello a demandé à Gaspar Noé d’interpréter sa collection été 21. De donner vie à une néo « Belle de Jour » dans une atmosphère invoquant les premières boutiques Rive gauche des années 60.
Historique : Le film est annoncé par surprise le 29 décembre via des teasers postés sur les comptes de Saint Laurent. Il s'agit d'un court métrage publicitaire/défilé pour la maison. Le film est publié le lendemain.
Le 12 septembre 2021, le film est récompensé du prix du meilleur film de mode au Berlin Fashion Film Festival

After the success of « Lux Aeterna » at the Cannes film festival in 2019, Anthony Vaccarello asked Gaspar Noe to interpret his Summer 21 Collection. Giving life to a neo « Belle de Jour » in an at-mosphere reminiscent of the first Saint Laurent Rive Gauche boutiques of the Sixties.
History : It is surprisingly announced on December 29th through teasers published on Saint Laurent's social medias. It's a fashion film published the day after the announcement.
On September 12th, 2021, it was awarded as the Best Fashion Film during Berlin Fashion Film Festival.
